Wilo-Jet HWJ Self-Priming Water-Supply Station
Wilo-Jet HWJ self-priming water-supply stations are used for domestic water supply out of tanks, when the depth to water surface does not exceed 8 m.
Wilo-Jet HWJ automatic pump stations refer to installations with pump for water supply and pressure maintenance required by system.
A pump unit consists of a multi-stage self-priming pump that can supply deep water, a pressure relay and a pressure tank.

Design and Operating Principle
Automatic pump unit (fig.) consists of surface centrifugal self-priming electric pump, hydraulic accumulator, pressure relay, pressure gauge and fitting kit. Electrical pump consists of a pump body and electric motor which are fixed on the adaptor flange.
Pump body comprise a housing made of cast iron or stainless steel, latten impeller and a build-in ejector.
The electric motor is an asynchronous motor of closed type with external ventilation. The junction box that is placed on the motor contains a capacitor and a connecting block to connect the motor with a power cable.
The hydraulic accumulator is aimed at accumulating water under pressure. It consists of a tank with a changeable membrane, made of food grade rubber, and a pneumatic valve for air injection.
The pressure relay is designed for automatic switching the pump on and off depending on water pressure in the system.
The pressure gauge is used for visual control over the pressure in the system.
Installation and Commissioning of Pump Stations
Before installation of electric pump (automatic pump station) it is necessary to choose a right place for it. It is recommended to install such a pump either indoors or outdoors on a horizontal platform, in a well-ventilated place that is also protected from rough weather conditions.
