IR (SAER) Horizontal Pumps for Water Supply and Circulation
IR (SAER) Horizontal pumps for water supply refer to single-stage cradle-mounted monoblock pumps with impeller installed directly on the motor axis. Their construction features a closed-type electric motor with forced cooling. IR4P nominal speed is 1450 r/min, and IR nominal speed is 2900 r/min. Both inlet and outlet nozzles are flanged.
|
|
Technical Characteristic:
|
- Head: up to 100 m for 2900 r/min, 43 m for 1450 r/min;
- Flow rate: up to 275 m³/h for 2900 r/min, up to 400 m³/h for 1450 r/min;
- DN inlet nozzles: from 50 to100 mm (150 for IR 4P);
- DN outlet nozzles: from 32 to 80 mm (125 for IR 4P);
- Temperature of pumped medium: from -15°С to +120°С;
- Correspondence to the established standards: pump: UNI EN ISO 9006, А, level 1 at request;
- Motor: IES 6034-1;
- IR–IR 4P Saer horizontal pumps can work both in horizontal and vertical positions, but the motor should be placed in the upper part (must be agreed with the technical department of the production company).

Application Range:
|
IR horizontal pumps feature a wide range of applications. They are used for providing liquid circulation in heating, air-conditioning, and hot water supply, for pressure boosting in available water supply systems, pumping liquids out of tanks, for irrigation, fire distinguishing, as well as for automatic multi-pump high pressure stations (at request).
Horizontal pumps are applicable to pumping little contaminated water that is chemically neutral to pump construction materials, contains neither solid particles, nor long fibre. There are available either horizontal or vertical installations, providing the electric motor is placed in the upper part. Stainless steel versions can be used for pumping aggressive media. |
| Special Constructions: |
- pump body is made of AISI 316 or bronze;
- impeller is made of AISI 316 or bronze;
- mechanical seal is made of various construction materials, depending on the medium pumped;
- built-in thermoresistor;
- maximal process pressure is 16 bar.

Operational Characteristics
IR–IR 4P Saer horizontal pumps can work both in horizontal and vertical positions, but the motor should be placed in the upper part (must be agreed with the technical department of the production company). The parameters that are indicated in the pump nameplate or in the catalog were obtained while testing using water with density of 1000 kg/m3 and height of lift of 1.5 m. When increasing the last one up to 6-7 m, it is necessary to adjust the head.
