Horizontal centrifugal pumps for acids and alkalis made of polymer have a robust housing and an inspection window aimed at checking the status of the mechanical seal. The pump shaft with the open impeller fitted to it integrates with the motor shaft. The mechanical seal is fitted behind the impeller.

| Principle of Operation |
|
The impeller integrates with the shaft and direct-drive electric motor. It is rotated at a preset speed with the centrifugal force providing suction through the intake nozzle, which is installed in the center, and the delivery through the outlet nozzle.

| Operational Conditions |
|
There are two types of constructions with different mechanical seals. They are as follows: TL = LIP SEAL (Polymer): for operation in light conditions; TS = BELLOW SEALS (PTFE with silicon carbide and ceramic seal rings): for operation in more severe conditions and pumping highly contaminated liquids The possibility to choose pump constructing materials ensures the most correct chemical compatibility with the fluid and / or the environment taking the temperature into account.

Pump Capacity

| Installation |
| MB pumps should be installed only with the shaft positioned vertically and head positioned over the inlet nozzle. One should apply necessary equipment to prevent dry run, vortex formation, and air exhaust. |
