MB-140 ECTFE
Horizontal centrifugal pumps for acids and alkalies made of polymer have a robust housing and an inspection window aimed at checking mechanical seal status.
Pump shaft with open impeller, fitted to it, integrates with motor shaft. Mechanical seal is fitted behind impeller.
Principle of Operation |
Impeller integrates with shaft and direct-drive electric motor. It is rotated at a set speed with centrifugal force providing suction through inlet nozzle, which is installed in the center, and delivery through outlet nozzle.
Operational Conditions |
There are two types of construction with different mechanical seals. They are as follows: TL = LIP SEAL (Polymer): for operation in light conditions; TS = BELLOW SEALS (PTFE with silicon carbide and ceramic seal rings): for operation under severer conditions and pumping highly contaminated liquids . The possibility to choose pump constructing materials ensures the most correct chemical compatibility with the fluid and/or the environment taking temperature into account.

Installation |
The axis of MB horizontal centrifugal pumps should be placed absolutely vertically, and the liquid height of water column is to be above pump inlet nozzle. Necessary equipment should be applied to prevent dry pump run, vortex formation and possible air exhaust.
